👶🏼 Our Leadership students set up the project and set a goal of creating 100 care packages this year! An ambitious goal that they are determined to achieve to help as many families as possible! ![]()
💗 These care packages will be donated to the DuPont Hospital NICU Department, which they hand out to families throughout the year. Each care package includes items to bring love and comfort to the babies dnd their families in the NICU!

📣 Student Spotlight: Mr. Nico Ferratusco 📣![]()

Mr. Nico Ferratusco has dedicated his entire athletic focus to ATA Taekwondo for most of his life. Starting in 2016, at the age of 6, he quickly fell in love with the traditional sword, the Gum Do. Over the years, Mr. Ferratusco has earned many State and District Championship titles in Traditional, Creative, and Extreme Gum Do forms, and continues to work hard on his ultimate goal of becoming a World Champion with the weapon. ![]()

Not only does he enjoy expanding his knowledge and skill for his own goals, but Mr. Ferratusco has found a new passion for teaching these skills to the next future generation of Black Belts. He took it upon himself to step up and learn the new Color Belt Gum Do form, recently developed by the ATA. With our Chief Instructor’s permission, he traveled to Fall Nationals and attended the Gum Do training clinic to learn not only the form, but also how to teach it to others. Mr. Ferratusco is now leading our Weapons class this cycle, teaching many of his peers this new form. ![]()

We have loved watching Mr. Ferratusco’s confidence, skill, and passion grow over the years, and look forward to seeing where his Taekwondo journey takes him in the future! Your family at Cabeen’s Taekwondo is very proud of you Sir, keep up the amazing work! 💪🏻🥋
